FAQ
Can I use continuous gravity drain and the pump at the same time?
We recommend using one drainage method at a time—either gravity drain (standard drain hose) or pump drain. Using both, the water will drain only through the gravity drain. In this case, the pump drainage will not function.
Is it normal for the pump to run occasionally or make a brief buzzing sound?
Yes. The pump may run intermittently when the reservoir reaches the trigger level. A short pumping sound is normal during discharge.
Where should the pump drain hose end? Can it go into a sink or drain?
Yes. Route the hose to a sink, floor drain, or a suitable drain line. Secure the hose end so it won’t slip out, and avoid submerging the hose tip in standing water.
